Today is a public holiday. Still, street cleaners walk the streets sweeping by hand. I'm sitting outside the Russian cafe, studying Chinese occasionally. Think that the street cleaners have very Zen/ meditative type of work. Calmly walking around looking for stuff to sweep. There life seems so far away from the bustling Beijing you sometimes experience.
