Earl Grey and oven

First some earl grey with sweet milk powder. Quite good. First time in Wuyishan somebody make it for me. Then we look at an ancient oven 1000 yeats old(?). The new one is in use and is quite big. Me and dogbiscuit is your bonus.

Tea factory and mist

We pass by a small tea factory after buying some produce at the market. The season is delayed so they wont start harvest and processing until the rain stops and its warmer.

My new tea cup and how to drink

Made and given by artist (on picture) Mr Sun Weiping. Good tea.

Too Much Food

Last nite was fun. Clubbing till 4am. Then some food with new friends. I had dragged along Hiro from Japan to this club and he had lots of fun.

The next day I had late lunch. Good but too much. Many Chinese foods are better shared. But it was very good. Now I'll go home and practice litttle Chinese using Rosetta Stone.

Near Ho Hai lake

Walk through hutongs. Visit temple. It was so warm and nice day. Felt like summer!

Sunday morning meditation

...and veg food.

Pure lotus gourmet Vegetarian restaurant

The size of the menu!

I remember being here for a fancy dinner in 2007 when I visited Thomas in Beijing. They moved location a few houses. But still very interesting food.

Sometimes they speak the truth?

Its funny. The English translation is so direct and I feel it encourages one to live in dreamlife!

Not sure what to make of it.

Me and my beijing summer palace

Its partly the way I dress that makes people approach me to take picture with me. And many older people are "impresses" with me wearing my beads. Oh well. Now my feet are sore. But a good day all in all.
